- The variety of companies that can utilise CRM solutions like Sage CRM is discussed and this can vary greatly depending on the required functionality
- Sage CRM can be used by companies that do not already use Sage solutions for their accounts. Eureka Solutions have clients that don’t use any other Sage solution other than Sage CRM
- Sage CRM can also be developed to integrate with other packages other than Sage
- There are 4 main areas of Sage CRM. These are:
- Contact management – a central database to store company and contact information
- Sales – manages the sales pipleline from initial enquiry to close of the deal
- Customer service – handles customer service issues such as complaints and support
- Marketing – allows the ability to carry out integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that can include telemarketing, email marketing and social media amongst other activities, and analyse the results
- Not every organisation is taking advantage of the capabilities that implementing CRM solutions can bring. Alan believes that this may be down to a lack of understanding about the benefits of the solution or how CRM can help with certain processes within the business.
