Software Developer Eureka Solutions (Scotland) Ltd, based in East Kilbride near Glasgow was honoured by Sage at their fifth annual awards ceremony, winning the prestigious Sage Developer of the Year 2009.
Sage, a leading provider of business management software, presents the award to reward high-achieving Sage Developers who are dedicated to providing software and service excellence. The award was judged on criteria such as technical expertise, customer service, marketing and contribution to the Sage Channel. This is the third year that Eureka Solutions’ achievements have been recognised by Sage, with the company winning Sage Circle of Excellence awards in 2007 and 2008, for outstanding customer service.
David Lindores, Development Manager at Eureka Solutions, collected the award from Paul Stobart, CEO, UK and Ireland Region, Sage (UK) Limited, at the gala dinner on 25th November. On presentation of the award, David said, “I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of everyone at Eureka Solutions. The award is recognition of the hard work that we have put into developing our addons and I would like to thank the staff at Eureka Solutions and also our partners for the support they have given us.”

Eureka Solutions are a leading developer of Sage 200 business management software for the mid-market. Their addons extend standard Sage 200 functionality to meet clients’ needs. The company revamped their Sage 200 addons for 2009 and launched a new website in July to showcase the new products. 10 of their most popular addons for Sage 200 can be downloaded free of charge, along with free trials of their larger modules. Eureka Solutions now offer 12 off-the-shelf modules for Sage 200 covering areas such as Wholesale, Retail, Tradecounter, Telesales and Sage ecommerce integration. On top of this they also work with other Sage Business Partners providing sub-contracted customisation work, meaning their addons are used by a high percentage of Sage 200 users.
