Import standard transactions into Sage 200

CSV Import for Sage 200 is ideal for importing transactions from 3rd party systems.  Sage 200 allows the import of certain data as standard. Our CSV Import for Sage 200 simply automates the importing of data into Sage 200. This ensures that data imports do not 'slip through the net'.  An added benefit is that errors through re-entering data are eliminated and that data is not entered multiple times.

Easy to use

CSV Import for Sage 200 is very simple to set up.  It requires folders to be set up for each type of file to be imported e.g. customers, sales ledger transactions, etc.  Once set up any file that is saved in the correct location will be processed as follows:

• File is checked for correct format
  • ‘Good’ files are processed and saved in new location and referenced
  • ‘Failed’ files are saved in a new location
• In both cases a log file is created
  • This becomes useful should a restore of an old back up be required
  • This lists all files that will be required to be processed again

Does it do any other imports?

CSV Import for Sage 200 is ideal for Sage 200 integration but will automate only standard data imports available in Sage 200. However we have an another module that allows non-standard imports, such as sales and purchase orders – Data Exchange for Sage 200.   Data Exchange allows import and export in other formats, such as XML.
