Includem is a registered charity that deals with assisting young people’s challenging needs and behaviours including offending, welfare and health needs. Their head office is in Glasgow but they cover most of Scotland, and are grant/council funded. Includem provide services such as fostering and community support for persistent young offenders.
Includem were using Sage 50 and needed it to provide more detailed analysis than was possible. They were also having issues in that Sage 50 would not allow them to split the Nominal ledger to the extent that they wished.
Sage 50 was not giving Includem the desired reporting that they would like. Any reporting that they were able to carry out required a lot of manual processing through spreadsheets. For example they use Cost Centres and Departments to analyse Cost and Revenue to Area and Project level. However, as Sage 50 only manages Departments, a lot of manual processing was required to get the desired analysis of the company overall. Includem decided to contact Eureka Solutions to find out how they could resolve their issues.
Eureka Solutions upgraded Includem to the Sage 200 Suite. Sage 200 is a customisable business management solution for medium-sized organisations designed to manage the whole business efficiently and give in-depth reporting and analysis.
The flexibility that Sage 200 gave for Nominal reporting was a major influence in Includem upgrading to Sage 200. Furthermore with Sage 200 Business Intelligence (BI), they had a powerful, Excel-based, reporting an analysis tool for their management and budgetary reporting.
