Sage 200 BI

Business Intelligence software provides analysis of business operations to allow organisations to make better informed business decisions.  Sage 200 Business Intelligence (BI) is a business intelligence software tool which now comes as a standard module within the Sage 200 Suite, along with Sage 200 Financials and Sage 200 CRM.

The economic crisis has illustrated that better use of data critical.  The fact is, we could all make more of available information, whether to improve sales performance, improve the customer experience or reduce overheads. Using a Business Intelligence tool such as Sage 200 BI can give your business the competitive edge by providing powerful analysis and reports which transforms data into meaningful intelligence.

Sage 200 BI utilises powerful data cubes, enabling you to drill down and get every available view of the data.  This allows you to decide how to analyse your data in the way you want.  Using an Excel interface, the tool utilises a familiar platform, meaning the product is intuitive, minimising the need for training.

Sage 200 BI – Advanced Reporting and Analysis Made Simple

How quickly can you or your business answer the following questions?

  • Which of my cost centres are most profitable?
    • Over the last 12 months?
    • Last 3 years?
  • Who are my top customers?
    • Which customers have bought from you in the last 12 months, but not in the last 3?
    • What are their buying trends?
    • How do they compare to the same periods last year?
    • Are the trends regional?

Sage 200 BI can answer these questions and many more, quickly and easily, and you don't need to be technical to do it.  With Sage 200 BI, you can have a unified and integrated view of your data, with complete management dashboards and analysis.  It is a superior alternative to complex spreadsheet reporting allowing your business to:

  • Identify critical trends
  • Investigate anomalies
  • Reflect and analyse
  • Make more informed decisions

Sage 200 BI allows your business to create advanced reports easily and analyse your data in popular areas such as:

  • SOP Invoice Credits
Allows analysis of sales quantity and value, sales returns quantity and value, and, estimated and realised profit sales - all by product, customer, location, date, accounting period and trading period.
  • Sales Order Book
Allows analysis of outstanding order quantities and values, and, overdue order quantities and values. Analysis is 'as at' dates in the past or today, all by product, customer or location
  • Sales Despatches
Allows analysis of quantity and value despatched, number of days to despatch and overdue despatches - all by product, customer or location.
  • Purchases Supply

Analysis is 'as at' dates in the past or today, all by product or location.
  • Stock Discrepancies
This is based on the records generated during a stock take.  The discrepancies between the number recorded on the system and the actual number counted will be recorded.  This allows for analysis of quantity of discrepancy, value of discrepancy, type of discrepancy (over/under), all by product or location.
