Fast Purchase Order Entry for the Sage 200 Suite

If your business enters a large number of purchase orders, this can be a time consuming process that may require several members of staff.  From customer requests, we have created a module that has been specifically designed to enter purchase orders as quickly as possible – Sage 200 Purchase Order Plus.

By extending the standard Sage 200 purchase order entry screen, Purchase Order Plus ensures that all information required by an end user is easily available from the order entry screen, making purchase order processing as fast as possible.  Our Sage 200 Sales Order Plus module provides similar functionality for fast sales order entry software, and is ideal for telesales or trade counter environments.

Main Features & Benefits


Easy to use – Sage 200 Purchase Order Plus uses the standard Sage 200 purchase order entry screen, meaning that no additional training is required.  The standard functionality is not lost, merely enhanced for fast purchase order processing.

Rapid order entry – Using the rapid order entry grid (click image below), purchase orders can be entered quicker than ever before.

Easily amend purchase orders – Quickly and easily amend purchase orders using the rapid order grid.  No need to access the Edit Items screen in Sage 200 for each line.

Add historical orders - Retrieve information about previously ordered items and add from previous orders.  Choose whether to buy items at a previous price or not, and add multiple items to the purchase order at the click of a button.

Fast creation of stock items – Standard Sage 200 requires the user to exit the purchase order entry screen when creating a new stock item. Purchase Order Plus allows the user to create a new stock item from within the purchase order entry screen using our Order Utilities toolbar.

Fast creation of new suppliers – Create a new supplier without needing to leave the purchase order entry screen.

Record changes while keying an order - Purchase Order Plus includes utilities which allow the user to change stock prices and details of stock items without leaving the purchase order entry screen, saving the user from having to remember to make the changes after the order has been entered.

Fast entry to other screens – Users are able to open multiple screens without having to minimise the purchase order entry screen.  E.g. view account enquiry and view item balances and more, all with one click.

Supplier price bands – Automatically calculate quantity break discounts for different suppliers.

Back to back sales orders – Create a sales order from a purchase order with one click.

One click processes - Purchase Order Plus allows not only for rapid creation of a purchase order, but also for the order to be received at the click of a button (click below).
